Essential Duties: 

• Patient check in and complete all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic policies are in compliance.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting co-pays and deductible amounts.
• Copy/scan patient access related hard copy materials into the correct location in the electronic medical record.
• Prepare charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete.
• Perform duties involving record filing, retrieval, and assisting with the filing of registration documenting in electronic medical records.
• Confirm next day appointments and alert patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time- of – service payment.
• Notify appropriate clinical staff of each patient’s arrival and assure that patients are informed of any appointment delays.
• Compile, organize and track various data and information regarding client’s attendance.
• Ensure proper policies are implemented and maintained during admission and departure of clients.
• Supports the Behaven Mission.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain an effective office.

Minimum Requirements:

• Working knowledge of computers and various software packages - MS Office requested.
• Must have great verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must already live in the Lincoln area.  We will not relocate for this position.

 Salary:

• $14-$18 per hour
