Program Coordinator
Overview:
Supports and assists the Clinical Director in the operations, supervision and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids.
Essential Duties:
- Assists Program Director in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care.
- Supervises and monitors direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
- Identifies, monitors, and implements treatment goals and objectives.
- Supervises and assists in identifying, monitoring, and implementing treatment goals and objectives.
- Provides a safe, structured learning environment.
- Interacts with children in a professional, positive manner.
- Creates atmosphere of enthusiasm and commitment.
- Communicates effectively with parents, peers, and supervisor.
- Prepares, updates and maintains documentation and children’s records.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing, health department, Behaven Kids policies and procedures, and fire and safety regulations.
- Supervises and monitors direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
- Provides orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
- Supervises the implementation of the Behave’n model of care.
- Carries out duties of Clinical Director in his/her absence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School degree (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, human services or related field (preferred).
- Proven leadership experience.
- A combination of education and experience might be accepted as a substitute for bachelor’s degree.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
Part time slots:
- Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR
- Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:00 pm
Compensation
- $18 to $22
